Supply of 3600 Toman Dollar in Banks

The newspaper Iran has reported on the supply of the 3600 Toman dollar in banks, and the newspaper Jahan San'at has written in a report titled "The Politics of Currency Unification" that "the Central Bank has set new conditions for importers who can open LCs at the 3600 Toman dollar rate at any time, although under specific conditions, the minimum rate will be considered as the basis for settlement, which previously did not exist for opening LCs." According to this newspaper, "the Central Bank's directive policy and the establishment of a new dollar rate is in line with the unification of currency, and it seems that, given the recent statements of the Central Bank Governor regarding the gradual elimination of the exchange rate, the government dollar, which is currently around 3200 Toman, will gradually be replaced by the 3600 Toman dollar." Accordingly, actions taken to organize the currency market have been communicated to the banking network in the form of "banking system action guidelines for opening credit for importing goods at free rates," which has set conditions in the area of foreign trade, especially for importers, including the opening of LCs at the new position with a base price of 3600 Toman for opening LCs. The newspaper Arman, in a report titled "What Rouhani Said, What He Didn't Say," evaluated the televised remarks of Hassan Rouhani and wrote: "The President spoke with the people on Sunday night as promised, but what he said was not what was expected before the start of this television program. Rouhani talked about the JCPOA and economic issues but did not mention what obstacles were in the way. He spoke of progress but did not say that the government's destroyers had gone so far as to even raise the voices of his own supporters. Last night, Rouhani's unsaid words were more than his spoken ones." This newspaper also wrote that Hassan Rouhani, in this television program, referring to the fact that "my concern is not the criticism of the government, they are lying," stated: "Without the JCPOA, we could only pay our employees' salaries," adding that "no one in the world said Iran was deceived in the JCPOA." The newspaper Etemad, in its front page titled "Rouhani's Silence," wrote: "The President did not answer a question about running again in the presidential election." This newspaper wrote: "In the twelfth hosting of Hassan Rouhani, the state media could not get him to promise candidacy in the upcoming elections; an election that has already drawn him into side issues and even attributes the drafting of citizens' rights to presidential propaganda, is so unimportant to Hassan Rouhani that in response to the state media host's question about whether he would run in the next election, he said, 'There is still a lot of time until then.' Etemad also wrote: "Although what was said last night by Hassan Rouhani regarding the government's actions was a repetition of the same usual statements; however, the repetition of all the statements filled with statistics and happy events of the JCPOA that he can boast about and talk about economic growth and increased oil exports." The newspaper Iran, close to the government, also dedicated its front page photo and title to the televised remarks of Hassan Rouhani, evaluating the President's statements as: "The very fact that the President remained silent in response to a question about candidacy in the next presidential election showed that there is no determination or will for electoral and political exploitation in the eleventh government, and it is merely pursuing the realization of its defined programs and goals, as the government's efforts and success in single-digit inflation, increased economic growth rate, and the stability and security prevailing in the country are tangible and evident." Saeed Leilaz, an economic expert, in the editorial of the newspaper Iran titled "Report to the People in the Scale of Moderation," wrote: "Rouhani's report to the people in the live television interview, unlike previous cases, was very concise, precise, based on expert statistics, and accompanied by a special intelligence. Mr. Rouhani calmly and confidently answered all the hosts' questions with a smile." The editorial writer of the newspaper Iran emphasized that "the President's explanations about inflation, exchange rates, the JCPOA, citizens' rights, astronomical salaries, and rising unemployment despite increasing job opportunities were all based on statistics and stemmed from the cabinet's performance. In fact, Mr. Rouhani's report was a clear picture of a government that is not only thinking about managing the country but is also trying to guide its movement forward without causing tension or shock or intending to misrepresent." The newspaper Kayhan, however, in its front page titled "Political Alzheimer," emphasized that "the forgetful government of the truth-tellers has emerged," and wrote: "A look at Rouhani's promises during the presidential election campaign, including solving problems in a hundred days, restoring credibility to the Iranian passport, listening to the voices of critics and not silencing them, fighting corruption, completing the nuclear case, and lifting sanctions, shows that the eleventh government has failed to fulfill these promises and has even forgotten these slogans." This newspaper also wrote: "The eleventh government has not paid attention to the promises made during the election in the past four years and has, in a word, suffered from political Alzheimer, yet the people have not forgotten the promises and have seen the government's performance, and it seems unlikely that media denials can erase the inefficacy." The newspaper Javan, close to the Revolutionary Guards, also mockingly wrote in its front page: "People should engage in social media." This newspaper, however, in the text of its report, referring to the fact that "the President spoke with the people about the economy and employment on Sunday night," wrote: "The key to this discussion was that Hassan Rouhani immediately brought up two completely unreliable and sometimes abstract solutions: employment through foreign investment and employment through social networks." The newspaper Etemad reported on the discussion about the hunger strike of "Arash Sadeghi" in the Hope faction and wrote: "The Hope faction discussed the issue of Arash Sadeghi in its session on Sunday," and even "after the Hope faction meeting regarding the situation of the political prisoner who is on a hunger strike and the negotiations that afterwards Aref had with Larijani in this regard, it was decided that the Speaker of the Parliament would intervene in this matter and negotiate with the head of the judiciary to resolve the issues of this prisoner to end the hunger strike." This newspaper emphasized that "the issue of Arash Sadeghi has become the main topic for some representatives of the parliament and has even involved the parliamentary board of directors," and wrote: "The request for follow-up on the situation of a prisoner who is on a hunger strike initially started from social networks and peaked on Friday, even forcing many artists to react. Among the official figures, however, representatives of the Hope faction had the largest share. From Mahmoud Sadeghi, Ahmad Mazani, and Ali Motahari, who reacted in social media, to Elias Hazrati, who wrote a letter to the head of the judiciary." The newspaper Javan, close to the Revolutionary Guards, however, with the title "The Media Line of Opponents in the Lines of the Hope Faction," wrote: "At a time when the Islamic Consultative Assembly is busy examining the sixth development plan of the country and this issue is always accompanied by sidelines, the so-called Hope faction has prioritized examining the situation of Arash Sadeghi, influenced by the media atmosphere of opposing news networks." This newspaper referred to Arash Sadeghi as a "security criminal" and wrote: "Can the follow-up of a media line of an opposing channel by an official faction in the Islamic Consultative Assembly be a sign of a deep relationship between the two? This is a question that the members and leadership of the Hope faction must answer." The newspaper Hamdeli, referring to "the justification of the Tehran governor for implementing the sterilization program for women who are sex workers and homeless," wrote: "The issue of sterilizing homeless people has been raised for several years, and perhaps the media first heard this name from the officials of the municipality and Mr. Mayor; the reactions to the inhumane remarks of Qalibaf were so numerous that the municipality denied these statements and positions." This newspaper reminded that previously the newspaper Vatan-e-Emruz attributed the proposal of sterilizing homeless women to the Deputy for Women and Family Affairs of the eleventh government, writing that the newspaper Vatan-e-Emruz described this proposal as "an inhumane proposal for sterilizing homeless people and marginal dwellers from the mouth of the Vice President." Siavash Shahriyar said: "If there is a woman who is at the end of her rope, cannot raise her child, and has to sell it, if she says she is willing to be sterilized, this should be done; it is better because at least we will not witness a sick child, suffering from food poverty, crisis-stricken, and without a guardian." The newspaper Aftab Yazd dedicated its front page to a caricature of the representative of the Supreme Leader in the Kayhan newspaper and wrote: "Hossein Shariatmadari made many mistakes in the debate with Kaveh Kavekian." According to this newspaper, "the 3100 Toman dollar, IPC, JCPOA, fake audio file, banking arrears, and... were among the topics that the managing director of Kayhan newspaper provided incorrect information about during a television program." The newspaper Shahrvand reported in a report titled "Staging with Life" while publishing the text of an interview with a contractor of staged accidents and stating "the shocking details of this business," wrote: "Contractors of staged accidents usually take 60 to 70 percent of the blood money of the injured for themselves, and for breaking each hand or foot, they pay 3 million Toman to those who participate in staged accidents." The newspaper Ghanoon in a report titled "Killer Drugs" examined "the case of a 57-year-old mother" who "lost her life due to the injection of a syringe." The lawyer of this woman’s family told the newspaper Ghanoon: "We do not say that all the blame lies with all the treatment factors in a disease, but we expect that the degree of blame of each individual is determined realistically and based on that blame, punishment is applied. We have not, at any time since 1393, publicized the medical file of Steven Johnson, but now, because we want all people to somewhat put themselves in the place of this deceased's family, we are sitting in front of you and engaging in dialogue because it is truly incomprehensible that a family loses their loved one due to a simple eye sensitivity. Our real motivation is, first and foremost, to pursue the culprits of this bitter incident and then to shake the medical community so that from now on, they respect human lives, and I assure you that we will pursue this case decisively."
