Suspension of a Doctor's License for 'Norm-Breaking' Actions in Amol

The head of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences announced that a doctor's medical license was suspended due to 'inappropriate behavior and actions contrary to Islamic standards.' The government news agency IRNA reported on Thursday, October 26, that one of the doctors committed a 'norm-breaking' act while receiving a certificate of appreciation at a ceremony honoring exemplary doctors in Amol. Farhad Gholami, the head of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences, labeled this doctor as 'offending and law-breaking' and stated that the suspension of his medical license is under the jurisdiction of the medical system.
