Suspension of Khamenei's Hebrew Account on 'X' One Day After Launch

The social media platform 'X' suspended the Hebrew-language account of Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, one day after its launch. Users attempting to access this page are met with a message stating that the account has been suspended due to violations of 'X' rules. This suspension occurred hours after the account posted a threatening message using the rhetoric of the Islamic Republic, claiming that Israel had 'made a miscalculation and must understand the power, will, and initiative of the Iranian people and the youth of the country.' The rules of the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, prohibit the dissemination of 'violent and hateful' content. The Israeli army announced on Saturday morning, November 5, simultaneously with sunrise in Iran, that 'precise and targeted' attacks on military targets of the Islamic Republic in various regions of Iran had concluded, and Israeli aircraft had successfully returned to their bases. Since the terrorist attack on October 7, 2023, by Palestinian militants against Israel—resulting in at least 1,200 deaths, including women, children, and the elderly, and over 250 others, mostly civilians, taken hostage—Israel has been engaged in battles on several fronts against the Islamic Republic and its proxy forces. The designation of Hezbollah as a terrorist organization means that there is no distinction made between its political and military wings, and both wings are recognized as terrorist entities. Israel dismissed the Islamic Republic's claims regarding the illegality of its attacks as 'ridiculous.' Reports indicate that Israel has 'broken the backbone' of the Islamic Republic's missile industry. Ali Khamenei stated that the Israeli attack should not be 'downplayed.'
