The Assassin Attempting to Kill Trump Requested the Iranian Government to Assassinate the Former U.S. President in His Book

Ryan Wesley Roth, the individual accused of attempting to assassinate Donald Trump on Sunday, September 16, had asked the Islamic Republic of Iran to assassinate the former U.S. president in his book. He has introduced himself on social media as a man who has built housing for the homeless in Hawaii and has tried to recruit fighters to defend Ukraine against Russia. Last year, in a book he published titled 'The Unwinnable War in Ukraine,' he wrote to the Islamic Republic of Iran: 'You can assassinate Trump.' Roth has severely criticized Trump for the events of January 6, 2021, the attack on the U.S. Capitol, and the withdrawal from the nuclear deal with Iran. In this book, he expressed regret for voting for Trump and blamed himself as one of the culprits for his actions in the White House. The 58-year-old Roth was seen with a gun around Donald Trump's private golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday. After fleeing the scene following shots fired by U.S. Secret Service agents, he was arrested in another city. This is the second assassination attempt against Trump, the Republican candidate in the upcoming U.S. presidential election, in recent weeks. According to the Associated Press, an examination of Roth's actions and statements presents a picture of an angry individual with a criminal background, diverse views from both the left and right, and contradictory statements. Roth participated in the recent Democratic primary elections and has contributed small amounts to the campaigns of representatives of this party in recent years. He appears to support Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate, in the upcoming U.S. presidential election in November. Joe Biden, the President of the United States, condemned the second open assassination attempt against his predecessor on Monday, calling political violence 'un-American.' He stated during a university event in Philadelphia that there is no place for political violence in America. The U.S. President said that in this country, disputes are resolved 'peacefully' at the ballot box and not with guns. He emphasized that such actions do not solve any problems and only cause 'chaos' in the country. Biden also called on American lawmakers to provide more resources for the U.S. Secret Service. Before departing for Philadelphia, he told reporters at the White House that the Secret Service needs more assistance.
