The Body of Nasrallah Pulled from the Rubble

Reuters reports that the body of Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, who was killed in an Israeli attack on Beirut on Friday, has been pulled from the rubble. Reuters noted that Nasrallah had no visible wounds and likely died from the impact of the blast wave. Daniel Hagari, a spokesperson for the Israeli army, stated on Saturday that the death of Hassan Nasrallah makes the world a 'safer place.' He pointed out that Nasrallah was killed in a 'precise attack' by Israeli defense forces on Hezbollah's central headquarters in Beirut while he was commanding imminent attacks against the people of Israel. Hagari described Nasrallah as 'one of Israel's greatest enemies of all time,' who had been a threat to Israeli citizens for decades, with the blood of countless men, women, and children from Israel and other countries, including the USA, UK, France, Lebanon, Syria, and other victims across the Middle East and beyond on his hands. He stated that Hezbollah began its attacks on Israel a day after Hamas's assault and had committed to planning and executing an attack similar to the 'October 7 massacre' on a 'larger scale' at the northern borders of the country. Hagari added that fighter jets are currently targeting this group throughout Lebanon. He emphasized that Hezbollah has greater capabilities, saying, 'This is not over.'
