The World Awaits the Rematch Between Biden and Trump; Both Rivals Have Secured Enough Votes for Their Party Nominations

Joe Biden and Donald Trump, the current and former Presidents of the United States, have secured enough votes to gain their party nominations for the upcoming presidential election in the United States by winning in several state primaries. With the votes obtained in the primary elections on Tuesday, March 13, both rivals will once again face off for the presidency, similar to the year 1399 in the Iranian calendar. Joe Biden and Donald Trump gained enough delegates to secure the Democratic and Republican nominations by winning in the primaries in Georgia, Mississippi, and Washington. Biden only faced internal opposition from within the Democratic Party, while Trump contended with rivals such as Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, and even Mike Pence. However, ultimately, Republican voters' support for Trump eliminated his competitors from the race. Although Biden and Trump have not officially secured their party nominations yet, they have begun their campaigns and are attacking each other with eight months to go until the U.S. presidential election. In his speech last week to Congress about the state of the nation, Biden criticized his predecessor 13 times without mentioning Trump's name, outlining the 'worrisome' future of his potential second term. Trump, who is only four years younger than the 81-year-old Biden, mocks his rival's age. On Monday, Trump stated on CNBC regarding Biden, 'My assumption is that he will be the nominee. Aside from age [referring to Biden's age], I am his only competitor.' Most early polls in the country show that Trump has a slight edge over Biden in several key states known as 'battlegrounds.' However, he faces four unprecedented indictments, including 91 charges. One of these trials will begin in Farvardin (April). It is still unclear whether the other trials will commence before the U.S. presidential election in November. Biden and Trump's nominations will be officially confirmed during the Democratic and Republican party conventions.
