Top 10 Goals in the World Await the Puskás Award

On Wednesday, November 13, the International Federation of Football, FIFA, announced the list of the top ten goals in the world for the Puskás Award. The Puskás Award will be presented to the winner at a ceremony on January 12, 2015, in Zurich, Switzerland. This award is named in honor of Ferenc Puskás, the legendary Hungarian national team striker who won the Ballon d'Or six consecutive times in the 1950s. It is awarded to the best goal scorer of the year during the selection ceremony for the best football player of the year. In 2012, the award was given to Miroslav Stoch, and in 2013, Zlatan Ibrahimović won the award for his stunning goal against the England national team.
