A spokesperson for Robert Mueller stated that this agent was 'immediately' removed from his position after the allegations became known. Flynn's agreement to cooperate in the investigation Michael Flynn, Trump's former National Security Advisor, officially admitted on December 1 that he lied to the FBI regarding his contacts with the Russian ambassador in Washington.
