Reuters noted that Trump's speech coincided with protests by thousands against his climate change policies. The U.S. President reiterated his promise to build a border wall with Mexico, stating that Americans should not be concerned about this issue. He also criticized mainstream media, accusing them of lying and not reporting the truth about his administration's achievements. This accusation has been directed at the media in the past, but they have denied such claims. AFP also reported that in his one-hour speech in Pennsylvania, Trump emphasized his support for the U.S. industry and military and discussed Washington's stance on North Korea. According to this poll, for the first time, 67% of voters said that Trump has fulfilled their hopes and expectations. However, 43% of those surveyed stated that the U.S. President has not delivered on some of his most important promises. Nevertheless, one-third of those who participated in the poll said that Trump has kept his important promises as much as possible. Meanwhile, according to USA Today, Trump's approval rating in this poll was 41%. Additionally, the website Politico published the results of another poll conducted by the University of Virginia, which showed that 93% of Trump voters approved of his performance as President, while only 7% disapproved.
