Trump's Cabinet; White House Affairs in the Hands of Senior Election Advisors

Donald Trump, the elected President of the United States, on Wednesday, November 23, continued appointing members of his cabinet and aides at the White House by designating four of his campaign advisors as senior officials. These four played a major role in the recent electoral victory of Donald Trump. Dan Scavino was once again appointed as Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff. Stephen Miller was introduced as Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Legal, Political, and Public Affairs, as well as Domestic Security Advisor. Mr. Miller was also a senior advisor in Trump's campaign and previously worked as a senior policy advisor in the White House during Trump's first term. Stephen Miller, 39, known for his anti-immigration and right-wing positions, was previously the senior political advisor and speechwriter director in Trump's first administration. He was the main architect of programs such as the 'Travel Ban' and the separation of children of illegal immigrants from their families during Trump's first presidency. James Blair was appointed as Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Legal, Political, and Public Affairs. Mr. Blair has managed hundreds of staff and overseen a wide range of political programs and mechanisms while serving as the political chair of the Republican National Committee and Trump's campaign. Taylor Budowich was also designated as Senior Advisor to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications and Personnel. Before joining Trump's campaign, Budowich held a senior position in the political action committee led by Trump, named 'Save America,' and has also been the executive director of a super PAC supporting Trump called 'MAGA.'
