Some speculate that she is waiting for news of Trump's conviction in court. Charles Bullock, a professor at the University of Georgia, says, "Some polls indicate that if Trump is convicted in one of the cases, a significant number of his voters will abandon him. I think it is possible that Haley is waiting, hoping to gather his votes for herself." In a recent Reuters-Ipsos poll, 51% of Republican voters said they would not vote for Trump if he were found guilty of any of the 91 charges brought against him in four criminal trials.
