Two Americans, Two Britons, and One Australian Killed in Saudi Arabia

In Saudi Arabia, armed individuals shot dead five Westerners, including two Americans, two Britons, and one Australian. All five victims worked for the energy company 'ABB Lummus' in the city of Yanbu, located in northwestern Saudi Arabia. During the shooting, three other employees of the company were also injured. According to the Saudi Interior Minister, three of the four armed individuals were employed at the same company. Following the shooting, during a chase between the armed individuals and police within the city, three of the assailants were killed, and shortly thereafter, the fourth individual also died from injuries. In this confrontation, one Saudi guard also lost his life. In connection with this attack, the U.S. State Department has once again warned that terrorists may be planning to target American interests in the Middle East. The oil facility that was attacked on Saturday is jointly owned by a Saudi company and the American energy company 'ABB Lummus'. Since last year, Saudi Arabia has been fighting a wave of attacks from radical Muslims. On April 21, during a car bomb explosion in Riyadh, five people were killed and about 150 were injured. Additionally, last year, 50 people lost their lives in suicide bombings in Riyadh.
