Two Killed in Sword Attack at School in Sweden

Reports indicate that during an attack by a masked man with a sword at a school in southern Sweden, a teacher and a student were killed. The Swedish police stated that the assailant was shot dead by police. According to the Associated Press, after the attack by the masked man at the "Kronan" school in Trollhättan, near Gothenburg, Sweden's second-largest city, students fled the school. This school has 400 students. Trollhättan is located 350 kilometers southwest of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, and has a population of 56,000, with a significant number of foreign migrants living in the city. A police spokesperson said that the police arrived at the school after the assailant had killed a teacher and injured three others, including two students aged 11 and 13. According to the report, the assailant was shot dead by police after being hit by two bullets, and one of the injured students later died after being taken to the hospital. The police stated that the assailant was 21 years old and from Trollhättan, and evidence related to the attack was found during a search of his home. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Sweden described the attack on the "Kronan" school as "a dark day for Sweden."
