Two More Hezbollah Commanders Killed

Clashes between the Israeli army on one side and Hezbollah and Hamas, as two proxy groups of the Islamic Republic on the other, continued on Monday, November 14, in Lebanon and Gaza. The Israeli army announced on Monday that during recent airstrikes in southern Lebanon, it had killed two commanders of Hezbollah Lebanon, a group supported by the Islamic Republic. According to the Israeli army, one of these individuals was Riyadh Reza Ghazavi, a member of the air unit of Hezbollah's Rizwaan forces and one of the designers of anti-tank attacks against Israeli forces in southern Lebanon. The Persian-language account of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs published details of the fatal attack on this Hezbollah commander. According to the Israeli army's statement, the other killed Hezbollah commander was at a command center of this group located in the border village of 'Safad al-Bateekh', responsible for transferring weapons and recruiting new forces. Persian-language accounts from the Israeli army and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs published images of the destruction of Hezbollah's military infrastructure in southern Lebanon. The Israeli army also reported the destruction of four drones on Monday morning. Two of the four destroyed drones were flying from the east, and two others were flying from Lebanon towards Israel. Hezbollah Lebanon unilaterally began its rocket and drone attacks on northern Israel the day after the terrorist attack on October 7, 2023. In response, Israel has conducted severe attacks against this group's positions in Lebanon and Syria, killing hundreds of members of this Iran-supported group, including leaders and senior military commanders such as Hassan Nasrallah, Foad Shakir, Ibrahim Aqil, and Hashem Safi al-Din. Several countries, including the United States, Israel, Germany, Serbia, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, and Australia, have recognized Hezbollah in its entirety as a terrorist organization. Recognizing Hezbollah Lebanon as a terrorist organization means not distinguishing between its political and military branches and labeling both branches as terrorist. Reuters reported, citing residents of northern Gaza, that 12 people were killed in an Israeli attack on Monday morning. It is unclear how many of the dead were members of Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups. Meanwhile, Israel has sent tanks to prevent Hamas from regrouping in Jabalia, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahia. During the terrorist attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7 last year, more than 1,200 people, mostly civilians, were killed, and over 250 others, including women, children, and the elderly, were taken hostage. Following this attack, Israel launched an offensive against Gaza aimed at destroying Hamas and recovering the kidnapped hostages. About 100 hostages are still held by Hamas in Gaza, and reports indicate that some of them have been killed. The Hamas group is listed as a terrorist organization by the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Israel, Canada, Japan, and several other countries.
