He added, 'One of the strengths of the United States is forming coalitions, and traditionally they did not utilize alliances in the same way, but they know this is a significant advantage for the United States, and thus they are trying to establish unity among themselves.' Chris Van Hollen, a Democratic senator from Maryland, echoed Senator Ricketts' beliefs, stating that the ongoing transfer of weapons from North Korea to Russia means that the time for U.S. congressional action has arrived. He said, 'That is why the passage of a supplemental budget by Congress and military support for the people of Ukraine, who need it to defend themselves, is very important.'
