In the UEFA Champions League matches on Tuesday, Francisco Costinha scored a goal in the 90th minute, leading FC Porto to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League. Walter Pandiani, the Uruguayan forward of La Coruña, scored the winning goal in the 12th minute, and this Spanish team advanced with an aggregate score of 2-0. Chelsea from England also progressed despite a goalless draw in London in the return match against Stuttgart from Germany, due to their 1-0 victory in the first leg. Fernando Meira, the Stuttgart defender, had mistakenly scored an own goal in the first match.
