The Ukrainian Army Command announced on Friday, February 1, via Telegram that the country's missile and artillery forces targeted a Russian army command post in the Kursk region as part of their efforts to disrupt Moscow's operations and logistics. The command stated: "As a result of this coordinated and precise attack, the enemy's command and control headquarters was destroyed." On the other hand, according to officials, four people were injured due to a nighttime attack by Russian drones on Ukraine, causing damage to a hospital and a grain storage facility in southern Odessa. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the country's air defense shot down 59 out of 102 Russian drones and caused 37 of them to go 'missing' through electronic guidance.
