UN: About 200,000 People Displaced in Gaza

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs announced on Tuesday, October 10, that since the outbreak of hostilities between Palestinians and Israel, nearly 200,000 people, or about one-tenth of Gaza's population, have left their homes and are facing potential shortages of water and electricity due to the blockade. He mentioned that most of them have taken refuge in schools. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the World Health Organization reported that 13 attacks on healthcare facilities in the Gaza Strip were recorded over the weekend and added that medical supplies stored in Gaza have already been depleted. On Saturday, Hamas, the militant group supported by the Islamic Republic, carried out "terrorist attacks" on Israeli soil, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries. In response to these attacks, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war on Hamas. Over the past three days, hundreds of locations in the Gaza Strip, which Israel claims are related to Hamas, have been bombed. Macron: The Iranian officials' praise for Hamas is "unacceptable".
