This statement was made in response to the possibility of the IRGC being included in the U.S. 'terrorist list,' and he added that such an action by Donald Trump would be a 'mistake.' Rouhani continued: 'If the U.S. commits another mistake and takes action against the IRGC, this would be a mistake upon a mistake; the IRGC is not just a military unit, but it is in the hearts of these people.' His unprecedented support for the IRGC has raised many questions among social media users. Some users expressed skepticism, suggesting that Rouhani either realized his past mistakes or is attempting to deceive the public again.
