Huckabee wrote on his X account: 'He is the true son of the devil who terrorizes people around the world and blames America and Israel for his own wicked actions. He is sick and mentally disturbed.' He cut off the internet to prevent the world from knowing about this massacre, while his staff broadcast his statements online for the world. In a post released on Saturday, Khamenei claimed: 'Agents of America and the Zionist regime committed horrific crimes in this sedition. They destroyed 250 mosques and over 250 educational and scientific centers. They damaged the power grid, banks, and medical centers. They killed several thousand people.' This claim by Ali Khamenei is false. Hundreds of photos and videos show that agents of the Islamic Republic, from institutions under the leader such as the Revolutionary Guards and Basij, are shooting at unarmed people. Reports indicate that snipers from the Revolutionary Guards have fired at people from police stations and government buildings. Some photos show agents executing the wounded in hospitals. Human rights organizations have so far published the names of over two thousand dead. A recent report from CBS News indicates that since the beginning of the nationwide uprising of Iranians, the Islamic Republic has killed between 12,000 to 20,000 protesters. Additionally, the Sunday Times of London reported, citing doctors, that at least 16,500 Iranian protesters have been killed by the Islamic Republic's suppressors, and another 330,000 Iranian protesters have been injured. The Sunday Times described this massacre as 'the most brutal suppression of the clerical regime in its 47 years of existence.'
