US Warns North Korea; Any Use of Nuclear Weapons Will Lead to 'Destruction of Kim's Regime'

The United States warned North Korea that any nuclear attack against US interests or its allies would be met with a swift and decisive response, resulting in the end of Kim Jong Un's regime. This warning was expressed in the final statement of the US-South Korea nuclear advisory group. According to Reuters, the second nuclear advisory meeting between the US and South Korea was held on Friday in Washington. The parties emphasized nuclear deterrence as part of their commitment to stopping North Korea. Kim Tae-hyo, South Korea's Deputy National Security Advisor, stated that North Korea may test an intercontinental ballistic missile this month, which, regardless of its range, has the capability to carry a nuclear warhead and is considered a significant nuclear threat. Pyongyang has developed and tested a range of ballistic missiles that can reach targets in South Korea, Japan, and the continental United States. The US Department of Defense announced on September 28 that Iran and North Korea are 'perennial threats' in the strategy to counter weapons of mass destruction. The Pentagon also warned about the potential use of North Korea's nuclear weapons at any stage of tensions. South Korea reported that the first stage of a North Korean spy satellite rocket exploded, military forces and weapons were deployed at the border, and North Korea canceled its military agreement with South Korea. North Korea claimed to have successfully launched a spy satellite into space. The US, South Korea, and Japan are sharing North Korean missile data, and a US nuclear-powered aircraft carrier docked in South Korea to demonstrate power.
