Victims of 'Razaayat Khodro' Company in Qazvin: We Want Our Rights

On Thursday, December 9, victims of the 'Razaayat Khodro Taravat Novin Cooperative' gathered for the umpteenth time in Qazvin to protest. According to reports, the protesters marched towards the Qazvin governor's office, chanting slogans against the governor and local officials, including 'Shameless governor, resign resign.' Government agents equipped with helmets were also seen among them. These protests have faced several attacks from government forces. In one of the videos released, after a military official declared their march illegal, the protesters opposed him, stating, 'We want our rights.' The Qazvin Automotive Companies Working Group announced on November 30 that Mohammad Reza Ghafari, the detained owner and manager of 'Razaayat Khodro Taravat Novin,' had transferred part of the assets obtained from attracting investors, amounting to over 80 trillion tomans, abroad. According to announcement number 17 from this working group, auditing this case, which involves creditors from about 20 provinces, will take approximately seven months. The pre-sale car company 'Razaayat Khodro Taravat Novin' in Takestan, Qazvin Province, has attracted billions of tomans in investment from fifty thousand citizens and currently owes 38 thousand people, and is accused of a 30 trillion toman embezzlement. The website 'Tejarat News' referred to this case of 'fraud' as 'one of the largest judicial cases in recent days.' The victims of this company have repeatedly gathered and demanded the return of their investments. The protesters in Qazvin chanted, 'Justice, justice, where is the people's right?' The victims of a car sales company in Takestan stated, 'We have nothing to lose.' Tear gas was fired at the protesters from the 'Razaayat Khodro' company in Qazvin. The protest in front of the 'Taravat Novin' company involved a 30 trillion toman embezzlement affecting 38 thousand victims.
