White House National Security Advisor Defends Biden Administration's Policy; Claims We Have Prevented Iran from Acquiring Nuclear Weapons

The White House National Security Advisor defended the Biden administration's policy against the actions of the Islamic Republic, stating, "Our goal is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, which we have been able to achieve so far, and we monitor this matter daily." Jake Sullivan, during his press conference on Tuesday, criticized the Trump administration's policy regarding Iran's nuclear issue, adding, "We had previously halted Iran's nuclear program advancements, but the previous administration reignited this (crisis), and we are currently working to manage the consequences of that decision." The U.S. National Security Advisor also referred to North Korea's military and arms cooperation with Russia, emphasizing, "Providing arms to Russia will not yield positive results for North Korea, and they will pay the price for this in the international community, while we continue to urge North Korea to fulfill its commitments and not provide military weapons to Russia that could lead to the slaughter of Ukrainians." He stressed the continuation of U.S. and Western pressures against Russia's military industries, stating, "It is due to these pressures that Moscow is seeking any source it can find for its arms supply." American media reported on Monday the possibility of an imminent visit by the North Korean leader to Russia, citing the purpose of the trip as military cooperation between the two countries.
