White House: Trump's Firm Stance Led to the Release of Hostages Held by Hamas

He explicitly stated this position during the ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas, which is currently in effect, where he warned that if the ceasefire is not achieved, Hamas and other terrorist groups supported by the Islamic Republic will pay the price. For this reason, the agreement for the release of hostages was quickly reached.' The White House spokesperson also referred to the upcoming working meeting between Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, scheduled for next Tuesday at the White House, stating: 'This meeting will emphasize the ongoing support of the United States for Israel and ensure that terrorist groups will face severe consequences if they violate agreements.' According to some media reports, Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to discuss three key topics during his visit to the White House: 'intensifying pressure on the Islamic Republic, managing the normalization process of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia, and the future situation of the Palestinians.' Officials of the Islamic Republic have repeatedly expressed their willingness to negotiate with the Trump administration in recent weeks, but Washington has not yet provided an official and public response to these requests.
