Important news about anti-Islamic Regime in front of the Iranian Embassy. On June 14th, at 12 pm there was a protest in front of the Iranian Embassy to support the uprising movement of the Iranians against the dictator and terrorist regime. Pamphlets were distributed to all those who were passing by to urge them to put pressure on the Canadian Government and the Media, to stop supporting the Islamic Regime. We will continue our protest against the regime of terror every day from 12-4 Ottawa time until July 9. The Pamphlet was as follows: Student Uprising Against the Tyrannical Islamic Regime. June 10th, 2003 was a victorious day for the Iranian people and the beginning of the end for a regime that is represented only by fear, terror, and hatred. On June 10th, thousands of Iranian students gathered in front of the university dormitories in Amir Abad. From there, demonstrations continued throughout Tehran with students chanting slogans such as 'death to dictator,' 'referendum referendum,' 'Down with Khamenei,' and 'Down with Khatami.' As students continued their march and protest, the number of protesters started to grow as parents and other non-student Iranians joined the students and sang 'Ay Iran,' the Iranian national anthem. According to news agencies such as Reuters and Associated Press, this was the biggest demonstration seen in Iran since the July 1999 student uprising which resulted in death, injury, and imprisonment of thousands of innocent students. The demonstrations have kept their momentum and will continue until July 9th, which is a great symbolic day for opposition against the current barbaric and dictatorial Islamic Regime. Unfortunately, the Canadian Press and the Canadian government have done nothing to support the plight of the freedom-loving Iranian people and have chosen to ignore the cries of Iranians who are fighting for justice and democracy. We condemn the Canadian government and the Canadian press for not supporting the cause of democracy in Iran and by doing that indirectly supporting the Islamic Regime, which is well known not only for its human rights abuses but also for its support for terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda and Hamas. The Islamic Regime is an illegitimate government that has managed to stay in power for 24 years only by using force, physical and psychological torture, public executions, decapitation of body parts, rape of female political prisoners, stoning, and using corporal punishment which includes flogging. The IRI regime and all its representatives are criminals who have no respect for human rights, freedom, and democracy. We as a group of freedom-loving Iranians who believe in a secular republic with a government that represents the people, rather than oppresses them, urge the reader to please support the cause for justice and freedom in Iran. We urge you to pressure the Canadian government and the Canadian press into supporting the plight of the Iranians. We also urge you to condemn the Islamic Regime and its representatives in Canada for their total disrespect and dis-concern for basic human rights and dignity. We announce our solidarity with the freedom-loving people in Iran. Long Live Freedom in Iran.
