From Tehran Imam Khomeini airport, scheduled passenger routes serve the UAE, Turkey, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Central Asia. Many routes were suspended during the 2026 war and have resumed in stages; European and US airlines do not fly to Iran.
